Great shoes

These are the best walking shoes I have ever had, talk about comfortable. No break in time, fit perfect out of the box. So light you can hardly tell you have them on. Most of all, they are non leather.

Walk in comfort with New Balance

My new MW845 New Balance walking shoes are just what the doctor ordered – well, not exactly. But they’re exceptionally comfortable, light weight, and as good as some other more costly walking shoes I’ve owned in the past. New Balance, is unique in that they offer several styles/models of shoes in size 12.5, for those for whom size 12 is a little snug and size 13 it too much like a boat! I have also found their website comments about many of their shoes running large, small or true to size both accurate and helpful when ordering online. New Balance was prompt in filling my order, the fit was perfect, and the 23% price reduction didn’t hurt either!

Another Great Shoe

I bought these at the same time as I purchased a pair of 545 walkers. These shoes are just as good as the 645′s and look better on my feet. Great arch support and comfortable insole make walking in these shoes a joy. Highly recommended even for diabetics (I am diabetic).

A cure for Plantar Fasciitis, Flat feet and Over-pronation

This review is purely for the physical benefits of the shoe and not its looks. I have had severe Plantar Fasciitis for the last 4 years (10 on a scale of 1-10). I have worn custom made inserts, done regular stretching, icing, rolling feet on golf balls, spent 100s of dollars on OTC shoe inserts, taken Cortisone shots, wore Birkenstock Arizona’s, gotten deep tissue foot massages and went to a Physical Therapist and none of it helped. My entire back half of the foot was in pain, the heel felt like it is broken in a million pieces and every part would hurt but the Xrays and MRI did not reveal anything. After 4 long years of trying everything humanly possible and doing research and reading articles I have finally came across these shoes. They are truly god sent. My feet are very flat and I over-over pronate. After so many years of bad walking my feet were so destroyed that I needed to correct the most basic thing which was my gait. I went to the local NB fitting specialist store looking for the 1123 model and the guy told me these were better for me. He was so right, I swear I want to go back to the store and give him a hug and thank him. These shoes have fixed my gait and my feet land on the ground like they are supposed to and I don’t over-pronate anymore. Its almost like walking on air if you’ve ever experienced those kind of shoes before. I no longer have any pain when walking. Some days toward the end of a long day my feet start to hurt. I’m thinking about buying the inserts NB makes and see if that helps. I am so in love with these shoes that I am evangelizing it actively. I miss wearing fancy dress shoes to work but the comfort I get from wearing these more than makes up for it. I hope I am selected to be a spokesperson for New Balance because I have truly experienced the difference.

The “D” and “EEEE” widths usually sold in local stores do not meet my needs. I was elated to be able to order the “EE” width. The shoes are very comfortable.

I love this pair of walking shoes. After many years of satisfied use, I replaced my old pair of New Balance shoes with these. These shoes offer great support and great comfort.
